While the Greek god Zeus is not a pivotal figure within William Moulton Marston’s original Wonder Woman comics, since Diana alternatively didn’t have a father and was sculpted out of clay by her mother Hippolyta, the DC Comics' Wonder Woman reboot written and illustrated by George Pérez altered Diana’s origin story to include the influence of Greek deities, which became canon within the DC Extended Universe.
